Vintage Silvertone 1452 Coral Electric Guitar
This guitar is tech owned! Pickups are awesome. Sounds a lot like a Tele. All controls work as they should. The temporary trem arm is a spruce brace from an old 1930's acoustic that's been stained. It's extremely tough and light weight and works well. Guitar looks very cool and has a great vintage vibe, but finish is very funky. some flaking and wear. Action is low and intonation is excellent. No heavy fret wear, weird frets and the neck has the proper relief. Orig metal nut, bridge, tuners and electronics. All tuners work fine and are in a single unit (sorta rare and ultra cool). Giant trem spring in back almost gives it a reverb when played acoustically. Heavy body (guessing 6-7 lbs?). Guitar is all original except knobs. $380. or look for it on eBay in a few weeks starting at $380. No case. Cash or PayPal only.

I was probably about 14 at the time. That one lesson turned out to be very significant for me, because he taught me how to finger pick. I loved it and it eventually became my favorite style of picking. The Silvertone that my dad bought me back in about 1966 is pictured in the video. Fender Variable Delay Oil Can Echo Reverb Tel-Ray Adineko
Great working 1967-70 Fender Variable Delay. It is a Tube model Oilcan Delay Echo Reverb Guitar Effect. It acts as a superb tube preamp as well. Serviced earlier this year with new Ucon lb-65 oil, and belt. Sounds much stronger in person than on this cannon powershot camera. Used Telecaster plugged directly into Variable delay and into a Silvertone 1482 amp. For sale on eBay.

Silvertone 60's-70's era S-68-B Made in USA Guitar... RETRO!!!
This is a little guitar I picked up for less than $50 to fix up a bit for a little guy who's wanting to learn to play the guitar. It's a late 60's to early 70's era Silvertone, as best I can tell...and from my research online, various brands such as Harmony, Stella, and of course Silvertone, made oodlin's of these identical guitars, with different model numbers, but they were still identical from what I can tell...I've seen some with the model number being a lower number (S-63 and S-65)...but as far as I'm concerned they're all the same, lol. I'm amazed at how well one of these little things can sound through a bit of electronic "magic", and heck, they still sound fairly decent played unplugged. I've got a few adjustments and repairs to make before it's truly playable (namely with the neck joint needing glued, etc.), but afterwards hopefully it will prove worthwhile :-) PS Check out Eli "Paperboy" Reed here on youtube, he has a couple vids with one of these that has a pickup and volume/tone controls mounted on the top....obviously he has the talent to go with it, but he makes one of these Silvertones sing through his Vox amp! Those vids are titled something like "Hiboo d'Live: Eli "Paperboy" Reed"
