Gibson J45 Custom Shop Limited edition. Tobacco sunburst on the top with an upgraded abalone rosette and star fretboard inlays. It spots a tight grain 3A sitka top with quilted sapele back and side stained in vintage mahogony colour to give you that deep red wine hue. The fretboard and bridge is upgraded from the usual indian rosewood to the mad rosewood. The original bone saddle has been upgraded to the FMI saddle to give you that improved aged tone with a wider spectrum. |

1962 Fender Bass VI Demo with 50's Bassman Amp

This video was taken at 30th street guitars, definitely one of the best guitar stores in New York, it is filled with amazing gear, in house custom guitars, boutique and vintage amps, and a staff that actually knows what they are talking about. Really nice environment and they even have a separate room if you wanted to really check out a piece of gear in private, like a nice tele and a vibrolux amp :) Gear used is an original 1962 Fender Bass VI into a late 50s Bassman (tweed of course) amp. As soon as i plugged it in i heard the sound these guitars were meant to make. This is the ultimate Bass VI set up and i got it on film! |
