Yiddish Twist Orchestra - Bagels

The Yiddish Twist Orchestra present Bagels, in the Willy Bergman lost arrangement for great East End singer Max Bacon. For more information and upcoming shows or to order a CD, visit www.facebook.com/yiddishtwist Live at Paradise Gardens Festival, Victoria Park, London, June 2010 It is always the seam on your trousers that attracts the most dirt," said Alf Wax, the great Whitechapel tailor, and back in 1950s London the same was undoubtedly true for music. It was the seam of the big band and rock'n'roll eras that attracted musicians who produced what sounds now like the dirtiest, most deliriously danceable music of all - that delirious mix of classic Yiddish songs, West Indian Calypso and English beat rhythms that they called 'der shvitz'. When years later it crossed the Atlantic in diluted form as 'the twist' its roots were forgotten, and remained so, with the exception of a select few in the know who recognise Willy Bergman, its founder and greatest bandleader, as the lost hero of the sex n drugs British music revolution. The Yiddish Twist Orchestra pays homage to the genius and paranoia of Bergman, the anonymous beatnik funkateer who got the slums - and salons - on both sides of the water dancing to that pounding Yiddish beat. Arranger: Willy Bergman Vocals: Natty Bo Guitar: Ben Mandelson Piano & Organ: Robin Harris Bass: Javier Fioramonti Drums: Saleem Ramen Trumpet: Lemez Lovas Trumpet: Steve Chadwick Trombone: Paul Taylor Sax: David Bitelli Camera: Daniela Boban ...

SX Telecaster Furrian MN Ash Demo - Matt Stottmann - Electric Guitar

So I got a brand-spankin' new SX Furrian Ash Telecaster from Rondo Music about a month ago for $125.00, and wanted to do a video to show how great a deal these guitars are. The original bridge pickup wasn't at all to my liking, so I swapped it out for a GFS 1950s Repro Tele bridge pickup for $35, and some stainless steel saddles. The stock SX neck pickup sounds delicious to my ears, so I left it in. The song is "Funky Woman", written by Pete Anderson as a track for Guitar Center's King of the Blues list. The solo is my own. Recorded through a Roland Micro Cube with an SM57 mic.

Vintage Trouble - Double Decker UK Tour Bus

Quick shot of the VT Chariot Summer 2011 UK TroubleMaking ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Album now (UK) - Itunes: bit.ly Amazon: amzn.to Play: bit.ly HMV: bit.ly ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Live-wired, straight-shootin, dirty-mouth'd pelvis-pushin' juke music featuring Ty Taylor, Nalle Colt, Rick Barrio Dill and Richard Danielson Vintage Trouble is a sensational, soulful four-man band whose very essence screams out loud of the late 1950's to 1960's. Turned on by and tuned into the evolutionary period in music and life when there was a razor thin line between Rhythm & Blues and Rock & Roll, the band reconnects us all to one universal vibration. Their modern day classics transport the mind, spirit and body back to a sweaty, swinging, heart-thumping speakeasy. Their live shows feel like a sweet southern down-home revival mixed with a gritty, downtown edge. Inspirationally, Otis Redding, Chuck Berry and Ike and Tina Turner can all be felt in woven clothe that tailor-suit the band like honey to the bee. When the buzz tells you they're near, get to them...and be prepared to be moved. www.VintageTrouble.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- www.vintagetrouble.com http www.reverbnation.com www.twitter.com
